Wissenschaftliche und technische Beratung, Koordination und Durchführung von Beratungs-, Forschungs- und Entwicklungsprojekten mit den Schwerpunkten Computerlinguistik und Sprachtechnologie / Natural Language Engineering, Medieninhaltsanalyse und -auswertung sowie allgemein auf dem Gebiet Innovative IT-Anwendungen:

• Partizipation in EU-Projekten,

• Mitarbeit in nationalen Forschungsvorhaben (DFG, BMFT, BMWi),

• Machbarkeits- und Pilotstudien,

• computerlinguistische und sprachtechnologische Auftragsforschung für industrielle und öffentlich-rechtliche Auftraggeber,

• Evaluierung von Software-Technologien,

• Verfassen von Studien und Konzeptpapieren,

• Projektplanung, Projektmanagement und Projektanträge,

• Spezifikation von Softwaresystemen,

• Pflichtenhefterstellung,

• Implementierung von Software-Prototypen und Anwendungen.
